Charlie Simpson, ACNP-BC, MSN, AACC

Charlie Simpson earned her Master of Science Degree in Nursing in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Lubbock, Texas. Charlie is board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

As an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiovascular care, Charlie diagnoses and manages acute episodic and chronic stages of cardiovascular disease as well as emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.

Charlie has worked in the health care industry for twenty years and served in various roles in the care of individuals with Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic health related diseases for sixteen years including Congestive Heart Failure, Ventricular Assist Device Therapy, Cardiac Transplantation, and Cardiothoracic Surgery Recovery. Charlie is a credentialed Associate of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Society of Critical Care Medicine, Texas Nurses Association, and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Charlie has also completed Graduate level study in Rural Health and Cultural Competency.
